As many of you know, we recently put in our fall jersey order (more on that later). As part of this ordering process we searched for new sponsors to help support the Johns Hopkins Cycling Club. In addition to our returning sponsors, Twenty20 Cycling, C3 Cycling, and Johns Hopkins University, three companies stepped up to support us for next season, and we are very happy to gives those companies a public thank you.

De Kleine Duivel – Belgian Brasserie

De Kleine Duvel is a new Belgian brasserie opening up in Baltimore only about 15 blocks from campus. The restaurant is slated to open early next spring and should be a great gathering place for cyclists and “normals” alike and will feature delicious Belgian food and beer.

Ride for World Health (R4WH)

Ride for World Health is an organization that is centered around a 3,700-mile ride, from San Diego to Washington D.C. R4WH is comprised of people from across the country who share similar passions about the need for change in both international and domestic health care. Since its founding in 2006, R4WH has been dedicated to creating a dialogue on the state of healthcare in communities across the world. By bringing together activists from across the country, we hope to inspire other medical professionals, volunteers, and communities-at-large to stand up as a unified voice for the millions who suffer at home and abroad.

Welcome to the new Hopkins Cycling website!

Hey all, welcome to the new Hopkins Cycling website! We’ll likely be going through some design changes in the coming days, but the bulk of the work is done. The site should be easier for us to update now. The goal is to keep y’all up to date on our racing and training throughout the season with photos, race reports, etc.

2013 is shaping up to be an amazing season. We’ve had a ton of interest from incoming freshman and current students and we’re all excited to start training together. Hopefully we’ll be sending some riders to nationals, which should be an amazing experience. Keep checking back here throughout the season as we progress!
