As many of you know, we recently put in our fall jersey order (more on that later). As part of this ordering process we searched for new sponsors to help support the Johns Hopkins Cycling Club. In addition to our returning sponsors, Twenty20 Cycling, C3 Cycling, and Johns Hopkins University, three companies stepped up to support us for next season, and we are very happy to gives those companies a public thank you.
De Kleine Duivel – Belgian Brasserie
De Kleine Duvel is a new Belgian brasserie opening up in Baltimore only about 15 blocks from campus. The restaurant is slated to open early next spring and should be a great gathering place for cyclists and “normals” alike and will feature delicious Belgian food and beer.
Ride for World Health (R4WH)
Ride for World Health is an organization that is centered around a 3,700-mile ride, from San Diego to Washington D.C. R4WH is comprised of people from across the country who share similar passions about the need for change in both international and domestic health care. Since its founding in 2006, R4WH has been dedicated to creating a dialogue on the state of healthcare in communities across the world. By bringing together activists from across the country, we hope to inspire other medical professionals, volunteers, and communities-at-large to stand up as a unified voice for the millions who suffer at home and abroad.
Baltimore School of Music
The Baltimore School of Music offers music lessons in a wide range of instruments. The Teachers at BSM are dedicated to providing superior musical education to Baltimore city residents and also to maintaining a sustainable business model and promoting Baltimore communities. BSM teachers are talented and active musical professionals who work tirelessly to provide the best musical training in Baltimore.
