Each year, FJHM processes approximately 45,000 donor checks collected by 15 separate development offices. From the time we receive a check, to the time it is deposited in the bank, and the information gets into ALADIN and SAP, the process takes 17 steps. With our current process, check processing can take 7 to 10 days due to accounting and fundraising paperwork requirements as well as the need to physically transport paper checks between offices and to banking institutions.
