Formerly a Registered Nurse, I worked as a medical and surgical nurse. I was last employed as a nurse at Sheik Rashid Hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 1978.  I ended my career as a nurse when I started raising my family.  In 1994, interested in exploring medical office careers, I joined the staff of the Health and Wellness Center.

I came to work at the Johns Hopkins University Student Health & Wellness Center in October of 2007. I brought with me experience as a Patient Services Coordinator, who specializes in college health, having worked in student health centers at Goucher College, Towson University and now Johns Hopkins University. I am married and the mother of three beautiful daughters.
