Allergy Injections

Allergy injections are available at the Student Health Center by appointment. There is no charge for this service.

In order for us to administer allergy injections. we require that you provide us with your own serum, as well as appropriate documentation from your private physician or allergist. This should include written physician orders, dosage, schedule, and specific instructions regarding missed or late doses. You must receive your first dose from your allergist.  You can store your serum here at the Health Center.

Please call to schedule an appointment. Plan on being here at the clinic 45 minutes per appointment. This includes 30 minutes post-injection evaluation time.

Vaccine Preventable Diseases

The JHU SHWC provides immunizations for many vaccine preventable diseases such as: 

• Hepatitis A
• Hepatitis B
• HPV (Human Papillomavirus)
• Meningococcal
• MMR (Measles, Mumps & Rubella)
• Pneumococcal
• Polio
• Td (Tetanus Diphtheria) or Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
