On January 24th, 2011, the Student Health and Wellness Center took a giant step toward protecting the environment and your confidentiality by upgrading to a paperless, electronic medical record (EMR) system.
What this means for you:
1) You need to register with the PyraMED web portal as soon as possible.
Registering allows you to:
a. commuicate through secure messaging with your health care
professional at the SH&WC. Email will no longer be used as a
means of communicating with you abour medical concerns or
confidential information. You will receive an email asking you to log
in to the Web Portal to retrieve your secure message.
b. complete forms associated with your visit in the privacy of your room
through the web portal.
c. You can submit online contraceptive refills for convenient pick-up
without an appointment when approved by your health care
professional.
d. Log in to the web portal and print a copy of your immunization
record.
Login Instructions: To log in, use your 6 character JHU Hopkins (ISIS)ID number and the same password you created when you submitted your pre-entrance health forms online. If you do not remember your password, you can click on the “reset password” link and a password will be sent to the email address you provided at the time you registered and submitted your online health forms.
